NEW GT300 TO ENTER BRITCAR 24H

Rollcentre Racing have announced they intend to enter the 2010 Britcar 24 Hours race which makes a return to the Britcar calender this year in a newly developed GT300 Cup Car.

Rollcentre, who won the inaugural event in 2005 hasn't competed in the Silverstone held Endurance race since 2007, although other Moslers have competed regularly in Britcar, produced a spectacular race last year during the 6HR replacement event at Silverstone.

Following on from the development of the new Cup-spec Mosler for the Japanese GT for ThunderAsia racing, Martin Short is working on another car to showcase at the enduro.

"I'm hoping the Cup car will be a bit quicker, more fuel efficient, and cheaper to run than the older car." Short believes the move to allow cars to refuelling in the pits, as opposed to the separate refuelling station will help the car against the more economical machines.

Although Rollcentre have yet to confirm the driver lineup, there should be plenty of familiar 'Mosler' faces around, with entries so far from Eclipse Motorsport, Topcats Racing, Paul White & Willie Moore (Straka 21), and a entry from Javier Morcillo and Manuel Cintrano who will be out for the first time in their Mosler.

It should be a great race with a total of nearly sixty entries received in total.
