ALEX VAN 'T HOFF TO ENTER A MOSLER IN 2010

Team Mad & Daring keeps expanding their car park. Last year they entered a V8Star, a Ferrari F430 GT3 and GT2, a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR and a Corvette Z06 GT3 in the Dutch Supercar Challenge. Now the team known for their eye catching liveries has acquired the Mosler MT900 previously owned and raced by German Harry Mecke. In 2010 the Mosler will be driven by Alex van 't Hoff.

Alex van 't Hoff made his first appearance in the Dutch Supercar Challenge three years ago alongside Danny Werkman. Together they raced a Passat V8Star, engineered by V-Sports. In 2008 Peter Versluis joined the duo and they bought a Corvette Z06 GT3. During the first races of last season Versluis and Van 't Hoff shared this beautiful car until Versluis acquired a Ferrari F430 GT2. Van 't Hoff stayed with the Corvette and was a top five regular for the second half of the year. At the end, the Dutchman finished seventh in the GT class, just behind team mate Nicky Pastorelli and Mosler driver Berry van Elk.

After two seasons in the Corvette Alex van 't Hoff was looking for a new challenge. "Two years ago I was trying to get an ex Belcar Mosler. In consultation with our sponsor we went for a Corvette in the end", Van 't Hoff explains. "Now we came across this Mosler and we were able to make a good deal."

It is very likely team mate Rick Abresch will drive the Corvette next year. Van 't Hoff: "At the moment Rick and I drive the Corvette in the Dutch Winter Endurance Championchip. By now Rick is completely Corvette minded, so chances are he will drive it in the Dutch Supercar Challenge next year."
